Rome Health hosts community forum June 26th

Rome Health is hosting a community forum 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 26th, in the Medical Center to provide an update on its many projects to expand access to care in the community.  The forum will also be live streamed from our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/romehealthhospital.

“Construction of the new Intensive Care Unit and Kaplan Center for Surgical Services is the most visible project on our campus. Watching the progress each day fills us with excitement and anticipation,” said President/Chief Executive Officer AnneMarie Czyz.  “We have also been investing in new technology and building capacity to provide convenient access to care to meet the community’s needs.”

In addition to discuss the status of the construction project, Czyz will share information about:

-Technology advancements including da Vinci Xi™ Surgical System and 7D Surgical System Navigation now available at Rome Health.

-Rome Health’s new gastroenterology practice, which offers advanced endoscopy procedures and weekend appointments for colonoscopies.

-Plans to expand access to primary care with six new providers and extended hours.

-The hospital’s innovative response to the significant growth in Emergency Department visits.  Through May, the hospital has seen a 21% increase in Emergency Department visits compared to 2023.

“We encourage members of our community to join us to learn more about our efforts to provide the best care out there.  Here,” Czyz said.
