About Ashley Edwards, MSN, RN, CCRN-K, NE-BC, Chief Nursing Officer | Vice President Clinical Services
Ashley Edwards, MSN, RN, CCRN-K, NE-BC, was named Chief Nursing Officer of Rome Health in 2022. She provides clinical and administrative leadership for planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating safe high-quality patient care to advance the mission of Rome Health.
After graduating from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in 2012, Ashley joined the hospital as a graduate nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2013 and her Master of Science in Nursing: Nursing Management & Executive Leadership in 2020. Since she was named nurse manager of the Emergency Department in 2017, she has assumed increasing levels of responsibility, gaining critical clinical and operational experience in the ICU, Maternity and Surgical Services. Edwards has a passion for learning and has earned multiple credentials and special certifications to maintain her clinical competencies. In 2022, she earned board certification as a nurse executive.
Under her leadership, Rome Health has been recognized nationally for exceptional patient care in the Emergency Department and the Maternity Department. Ashley embraces a servant leadership style, where she focuses on developing and empowering her team to unlock their own potential.
